How it works
A familiar voice.
A little more freedom.
Remember stretching the curly cord across your room, just to talk a little longer? Ourline brings that feeling to a new generation—with a circle of people you choose.
01Start with your family account.
Request a private-beta invitation. Choose a home phone and give it a familiar name. Our first families start with a Wi-Fi home phone; flip phones, Android phones, calling watches, and laptop calling are part of the longer-term vision.
02Bring both parents along.
Each parent gets their own email login, using a magic link or code. One family account across different homes, with explicitly shared management and no password to pass around. Invite another parent to help with contacts and calling rules.
03Choose their people.
Add friends, grandparents, and trusted adults. Keep a person’s full name in your contacts and choose a familiar label your child sees, like “Grampy’s Cell.” Decide who can call in and who they can call.
04Let the conversations begin.
Your child picks up a phone and calls someone they know. You manage quiet hours and see call activity from the parent dashboard. The conversation itself stays a conversation: no recordings or transcripts in our service design.
Your number. Your arrangement.
One line together.
Or a line of their own.
Ourline’s line model supports a shared number across several devices, separate numbers for individual devices, or a mix. For a shared line, eligible phones ring and the first answer takes the call. Each device keeps its own rules.
Phone and number options are confirmed with each private-beta family.
